My Story

Jeanne’s start date is September 28th.

Weekday and Evening Appointments Available. Online and In-Person. Works with couples and families who love each other and just want to be on the same page.

Hi, I’m Jeanne! I work with couples and families who want to feel close again. Many people come to me because they feel stuck in the same arguments. You may feel like you keep saying the same things, but nothing changes. This can be frustrating and leave you feeling distant and misunderstood.

Couples often know they love each other, but they don’t always feel loved by each other. No matter how hard you try, it may feel like you are talking past one another. This can feel lonely, and you may even wonder if you still matter to your partner.

When you work with me, I take a caring and personal approach. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you and your partner talk in ways that bring you closer. I also share simple tools you can practice at home. These tools can help you move past stuck conversations and feel more connected. Together, we’ll work toward more peace, closeness, and joy in your relationship.

If you’re ready to feel closer, more understood, and more supported in your relationships, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Outside of the Therapy Office:

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy the little things, watching HGTV or anything wedding-related, savoring the smell of rain, or finding a good TV show to binge with my partner. I love playing games with my kids, sitting outside on a breezy day, or just soaking in the quiet (introvert life!). I’m also a neurodivergent-affirming therapist who believes every person’s way of thinking, feeling, and connecting is worth celebrating.

Clarification About Insurance & Tricare Certified OON:

Jeanne is working under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Polinsky as well as Dr. Jamie West When submitting superbills to Tricare, you will need to submit Dr. Elizabeth Polinsky’s information; this will be the case whether you are seeing Jeanne for individual, couple, or family therapy.

If you are active duty and do not have Tricare Select, Jeanne offers a 10% military discount off her standard private pay rate.

Sliding Scale:

Jeanne accepts a portion of her caseload on a sliding scale basis through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective ($70 for individual counseling and $80 for couple or family therapy).
