My Story

Christy is not currently accepting new clients.

Evening Appointments Available. Online and In-Person. Works with individuals, couples, and families who are doing their best but still feel stuck or disconnected.

Hi, I’m Christy, a military spouse of more than 15 years and a mother of three. I work with individuals, couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Many of the people I support are facing high stress or major life transitions that make it hard to stay emotionally connected. Over time, this can lead to tension in relationships, difficulty communicating, or a feeling of doing your best but still not feeling understood or close to the people you care about.

In our work together, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where everyone feels heard and respected. We slow things down to understand emotional patterns and what may be getting in the way of connection. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy along with CBT, ACT, and family-based approaches, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. I work to honor clients’ faith and values while creating an affirming, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. My goal is to help individuals and families strengthen connection, build resilience, and move toward lives that feel more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Outside of the Therapy Office:

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children, supporting them in their activities, and being outdoors. I also enjoy horseback riding and rock climbing and I have been a therapeutic horseback riding instructor for over ten years.
